Keadby Next Generation Power Station Consultation

The consultation on our plans to develop Keadby Next Generation Power Station is taking place between Thursday 9th January and Thursday 20th February 2025.

Please respond by 23:59 on Thursday 20th February 2025

We want to understand your views on our proposals for the project.

The project is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project, as defined by the Planning Act 2008. This means we need to make an application to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero for a Development Consent Order (DCO), which would grant permission to build and operate the power station.

This consultation is an important opportunity for you to provide your comments on the project before we submit our DCO application, which we expect to do in 2025.

Your feedback to this consultation is important and will continue to help shape the design of the project.

The consultation brochure is a booklet detailing all the essential information about the proposals for the project, including location, key benefits and likely effects. The consultation brochure can be downloaded here

Consultation banners

The consultation banners are the information boards we will present at the consultation events. They are a briefer version of the information in the consultation brochure and can be downloaded here.

Virtual consultation room

We are using a virtual consultation room, which replicates a face-to-face consultation event. You can find it at https://keadbynextgen.consultation.ai/ .

Our virtual room has been designed to be user-friendly. The room has the information banners from the events, a link to the feedback form, and links to the consultation brochure, plans of proposed site and access routes, Frequently Asked Questions, as well as our Preliminary Environmental Information (PEI) Report, PEI Report Non-Technical Summary, and Statement of Community Consultation.
